Dear Friends,

A few weeks back I was in a continuing education class where we were talking about the difference between restorative healing vs. alchemical / transformative healing.

The first being when we attempt to fix or restore something, so we can return to what we were previously doing and continue as usual - even if those patterns were unhealthy or causing distress in our bodies. For example, think of someone who is suffering from shin splints from running too much, and wants to fix the symptoms, so they continue running the same amount.

The second being, refining and caring for something through time, putting the pieces back together in a more skilled and organized way.

I thought this was a beautiful reminder of what eastern medicine has to offer us. Allowing the symptom to lead us to where the body is wanting support.

As we head into the colder months, I am super excited to invite you to join me for 6 weeks dedicated to supporting your health and wellbeing,
